Our corrections policy
If we get something wrong, we fix it — promptly, transparently, and with the change noted on the corrected page.
What constitutes an error
Veteran News aggregates and curates news from third parties. The most common errors are:
- Misclassification (story tagged in wrong section)
- Broken or redirected source links
- Outdated or stale headlines from cached feeds
- Typos in our editorial copy (the briefings we write, the resource directory)
Errors in source articles themselves are the responsibility of the source publication. We will pass corrections back when notified.
How to report
Email us via the contact page or directly to our parent at warriorsfund.org. Please include the URL of the page, what's wrong, and (if possible) your source for the correct information.
Response time
We aim to acknowledge correction requests within 24 hours and apply corrections within 48 hours of verification.
Significant corrections log
Material corrections — those affecting facts substantively presented in our editorial copy — will be logged here with the date and nature of the change.
No significant corrections logged to date.
