Free Reply Postage Update: What’s Changing on July 31
For the last few months, Navy Federal Credit Union has generously sponsored free Reply Postage on Sandboxx letters. That sponsorship is coming to an end on Friday, July 31. We want to give you plenty of notice, explain exactly what’s changing, and make it simple to keep free Reply Postage on the letters you send. Here’s everything you need to know.
What is Reply Postage?
Reply Postage is the prepaid postage on your reply envelope. With it, your recruit or service member can write back without needing to find or buy stamps on base. They just write their letter, seal it in the reply envelope, and drop it in the mail.
What is changing, and when?
Navy Federal Credit Union has been kindly covering the cost of Reply Postage. That sponsorship ends on Friday, July 31. After that date, free Reply Postage will no longer be automatically included on new letter bundle purchases.
The most important thing to know
If you want to keep free Reply Postage, here’s the one thing to do: Buy your letter bundle by 11:59 PM ET on Friday, July 31.
Any letter bundle you purchase before that deadline keeps its free Reply Postage. The prepaid postage stays with the letters in that bundle even if you write and send them later. In other words, the benefit is tied to when you buy the bundle, not when you send the letters.
You do not need to write, print, or mail your letters by July 31. You only need to purchase your bundle by then. Buy the bundle now, and send those letters whenever you’re ready.
*Sandboxx letter credits expire 6 months from the purchase date, per our Terms of Service here.
What happens if I buy after July 31?
You can still buy letter bundles and send letters exactly as you do today. Your letters will print and mail normally. They simply won’t include the free Reply Postage.
Lock in your free Reply Postage: Want to keep free Reply Postage on your letters? Purchase your letter bundle before 11:59 PM ET on Friday, July 31.
