Veterans living or traveling abroad can now file their Foreign Medical Program claims online. This process is reportedly faster and easier. The online claims process allows for reimbursement of medical expenses related to service-connected disabilities and conditions.
Veterans can file claims themselves or have their healthcare provider do it on their behalf. To file a claim online, veterans will need to have certain documents ready, including an itemized billing statement and proof of payment.
