VA collaborates on national effort to reduce Veteran suicide by 2032
The US Department of Veterans Affairs has joined a national effort to reduce Veteran suicide. This initiative aims to provide care, support, and resources to Veterans. The department recently participated in a meeting with the Face the Fight coalition in Louisville, Kentucky.
The coalition is a group of organizations working together to prevent Veteran suicide. It was founded in 2023 and includes over 250 corporations, nonprofits, and community organizations. The goal of this effort is to significantly reduce Veteran suicide by 2032.
